The FLO Job Fair 2025 – Delhi Edition, organized by FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO), was inaugurated by Delhi Government’s Minister of Art, Culture and Tourism Kapil Mishra at Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, here today.
In his address, Mishra described this initiative as an important step for the youth of Delhi. He said that this is a wonderful experiment and initiative, which was very much needed in Delhi.

Expressing concern over the employment situation in Delhi, the minister said that due to the wrong policies of the previous government, the condition has deteriorated over the last ten years, forcing Delhi’s youth to go to Gurugram and Noida for jobs.
“We want Delhi’s youth to work in their own city and get employment here, rather than having to go to Gurugram or Noida. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta, our commitment is to provide good job opportunities to Delhi’s youth by giving them new skills and education and to develop Delhi as a hub of industry and startups,” he said.
Mishra also mentioned that earlier, Delhi used to be an employment hub, but in recent years, industries in Delhi have weakened and new opportunities have closed down, creating serious challenges for the youth.
The cabinet minister further said that the Delhi Government, in collaboration with the Central Government, is working on a solid action plan to revive employment and industries. “The objective is to provide better opportunities, better training and better skills to the youth. The government will specifically focus on pollution-free industries, service industries, AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming & Comics), modern technology-based industries, and the tourism sector,” he said adding that the capital has immense potential in these fields and promoting them will generate vast employment opportunities for the youth.
Towards the end of his address, Mishra said that Delhi is the hub of the country’s most talented youth and its educational infrastructure is also very strong. Only in the past 10–15 years, a gap has emerged that now needs to be filled. He stressed that the highest priority is to fulfill the dreams of the youth and the government is consistently working in this direction.
