A Bold Statement for Europe’s Future – under this motto, 40 young Portuguese and Ukrainians are gathering in Lviv.
 
Over the next few days, they will discuss the urgency of EU enlargement and the transformative power of EU integration. While sharing ideas, they will create timeless bonds. 
 
In Lviv, these young people, are experiencing personally our European unity and values, right in this year’s European Youth Capital.

They remind us that to uphold our common values – democracy, freedom and peace – we need to work together – from Ukraine’s frontlines to Portugal’s streets.

I feel inspired by the great passion and commitment of these young people for the European project.
