CVector Energy has raised $1.5 million in pre-seed funding to build advanced AI technology for industrial operations. Their platform connects data from factories, energy systems, and other critical infrastructure, enabling operators to utilize AI for faster decision-making and problem-solving.
Unlike older systems that struggle with changing market conditions, CVector’s new platform collects detailed asset data along with signals like energy prices and weather. This unified system enables operators to integrate AI tools, run advanced models, and automate troubleshooting. The technology learns from operator habits, adapts to different workflows, and gives tailored information when it’s needed most.
Founded in late 2024 by engineers from Shell and CERN, CVector is already used in energy, chemical, and manufacturing industries. They achieved ISO 27001 certification for security in June 2025 and are working on more certifications. CVector’s clever data and AI tools make troubleshooting faster and help prevent problems before they occur.
Based in Providence, RI, with offices in New York and Frankfurt, CVector will utilize its new funding to expand its team, enhance its product, and increase its presence at additional industrial sites.
KEY QUOTES:
“CVector is building the brain and nervous system for industrial assets. We’re giving operators and engineers a foundation to plug in AI, understand system-wide behavior, and act with speed and precision. This round will help us bring that capability to even more mission-critical environments.”
Richard Zhang, co-founder and CEO
“We go far beyond data collection. With CVector, operators can run complex techno-economic modeling at the edge. It’s not just about insight—it’s about automated action and real operational lift.”
Dr. Tyler Ruggles, co-founder and CTO
“CVector is solving one of the most fundamental gaps in industrial AI: making operational data truly usable. Their platform is purpose-built for factories and field environments. We believe CVector will be foundational infrastructure for the autonomous industrial systems of tomorrow.”
Julian Counihan, General Partner at Schematic Ventures
