In Din Daeng district, where the Ministry of Labour is located, the shaking was strong enough that people inside the ministry building rushed to evacuate.
At around 9.58am, in Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana district, mild tremors lasting about 10 seconds were reported. On Banthat Thong Road in Ratchathewi district, office workers said they felt the building sway.
In Bang Krasor, Mueang district of Nonthaburi, residents on the 9th floor of a high-rise in the Khae Rai area reported the building swaying and feeling dizzy. In Si Lom, Bang Rak district, people said they felt dizzy and noticed both the building and household items shaking, though only briefly.
In Sam Sen Nai, Phaya Thai district, residents on the 11th floor of a tall building reported tremors and swinging ceiling lamps. In Khlong Toei district, those in a condominium on the 12th floor said the water in containers rippled slightly.
In Khlong Ton Sai, Khlong San district, condominium residents on the 18th floor reported hearing creaking sounds and saw kitchen lights swaying. In Thung Phaya Thai, Ratchathewi district, people reported feeling tremors, dizziness, and observed hanging lights swinging back and forth.
