Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini has provided government jobs to the family members of those who lost their lives in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. This decision offers great relief to the families affected by these riots as this step is a significant one towards providing justice to the families impacted by the anti-Sikh riots, said district BJP president Rajnish Dhiman.

Dhiman also distributed sweets outside the BJP’s office in celebration of the 121 riot-affected families in Haryana having received government jobs. Dhiman said anti-Sikh riots erupted across the country after the assassination of then-PM Indira Gandhi in 1984. During these, 121 people died in Haryana. The government had applied a ‘balm to their wounds’ by providing government jobs to all 121 of these affected families, based on their consent and qualifications, added Dhiman.
